To the guys considering ERJ or CRJ, remember that the CRJ fleet is primarily very junior FOs. So there won't be much movement caused by FOs upgrading and leaving the CRJ. For example, the top half of JFK ERJ FOs have been awarded upgrades, but there aren't any LGA CRJ FOs close to upgrading.

Find a good coffee shop with free wifi halfway to ORD and hang out there when you are getting close to being called out :)

Lol, no I wasn't implying that CRJ or ERJ guys get called more often, but these days you can expect to be called on whatever aircraft you fly.

Eagle Reserve Rules

Can someone run down the reserve rules for Eagle?

I was wondering how you bid for windows, if you long call, and how ready reserve works?

Thank you,

TC

they call you go. you call they extend, and extend till your days off. nuff said.

Then on your days off they call. You answer, you go.

withthatsaid182 12-11-2010 06:54 PM

and then after a few years you hold your first line...and on day 1 of your 4 day they declare OSO and you're back on reserve. :D

so how many days off would that be? Are they in blocks I.E. you get 11 days off a month which have to be 1 block of 3 and 1 block of 4?
