It has been 1811 days since the Pinnacle Pilot Agreement became amendable.

I can make the same argument in this thread as the 9E ramper thread. The pilots have no leverage because the government, through the RLA, has taken it away from them. Anybody have any pictures of the NMB members molesting children or something? Pretty sure blackmail is the only way anybody will ever get released at this point.

Yup. That RLA has hosed us all.

Sounds like its time for Pinnacle pilots to fly a little safer.

If you guys can't stick together you deserve another 1811 days...

don't worry, this place is being set up to fail this summer. With the increased flying in LGA, JFK and ATL we are seeing and the fact that those flights are being routed through our other bases this place is going be severely impacted anytime there is bad weather or any time we have a plane that has a mx problem in one of those bases. Add that to the fact that the bottom 30% of each seniority list that has been continually getting abused for 3 years straight now is so tired that they don't care about anything anymore.

If you are on the top half of the pilot bid list here - you get 17-21 days off a month. I am not one of those people. A lot of those people are selfish and only see what is good for them and continue to pick up open time when premium pay is offered which is just a band aid for our out of control staffing problem that we have right now. That is why this place sucks for any junior person. There is no such thing as unity. That stupid 99% sticker was flipped upside down, it was supposed to read %66.

The NMB has absolutely no reason to help the pilots by granting their requests. Their only purpose as a gov bureaucracy is to stop or delay the possibility of disruption in the transportation system. I don't know what the solution is, maybe ALPA can lobby against the RLA. The labor friendly administration can only help, though it looks like they only have about 2.5 years to go.

But you guys have a huge thing going for you, the Colgan crash. If you guys are forced to strike, it will look very bad on the whole management team as well as to other airlines watching. On the last hour when the RLA or the NMB can't help management anymore, you guys will probably get whatever you ask for.

I hope so, I can honestly say that if things continue the way things are going right now, we won't even be an airline in 2 years. We will either get our contracts cancelled or we will be shut down. When you have low morale and there is no interest in changing the culture of the airline, bad things happen...........
