can you say limo from IAD? Before CHO was a base, the crews drove from HEF to CHO to start thier day trip. Never underestimate the stupidy of beancounters

Does Colgan make furloughed pilots resign seniority or sign a training contract? Looking for an answer from some one who recently was hired.

They do ask you to drop your seniority, but I was not previous 121 pilot. The other's that were furloughed told me they did ask them that.

I did hear back from Chuck today, he did let me know that they were running behind but that they would hire me as soon as my FBI background check clears. Everything else had already cleared, and he said they will call back soon with information about the May class.

I also heard from Chuck yesterday. He said they were behind, asked if I'm still interested.

I talked to Chuck today, and it sounds like he's got 60 interviews lined up this weekend. I got the same story many of you have... apply on airlineapps and stay in touch (prior 121 and Dash experience).

Most likely, it isn't. The group I was hired from had 42 applicants, and Chuck told us they were taking 16 from my group. That was for the one class in May. Now, they are hiring for the Q and the 340 so those with previous Q experience will go to classes that start at a different time than those going to the SAAB. But, out of the 42 applicants the 16 chosen were for both planes.

Default Eas

Word is that some of the EAS is going away (PKB, JST, AOO, BKW, SHD)

With the loss of this flying, how many does this translate to furlough-wise?
