Wrong
Like I told you earlier. There's not agreement because there's more than two entities and there was debate on if they'd be integrated. The company has to agree to amalgamation of contracts, which DAL/NWA and CAL/UAL have, but in our case there's video, which I've watched, of BB saying "We'll sell Frontier before we integrated them". Also there were four unions involved. All four would have had to come together to do this process.
There is no Midwest certificate. The Lynx operation is being wound down. The Midwest/Lynx guys will either end up on the Frontier or RAH codeshares and get paid based on the aircraft and position.
Once again you're paid based on what aircraft you fly. If you end up on the 190 you get 190 pay. *shocking*
There are measures being taken with the completion of the new local. More information on all that will be released in the future.
Ask the arbitrator

Not as simple as you think. The F9 guy is a FAPA member and he can't just jump around between unions. There is much more than pay. What about real work rules, retirement? Who pays for the new uniform if a F9 guy flys a 145? Which medical plan is this FAPA member flying a RAH plane fall under? Who gets this FAPA members union dues while flying a RAH plane? If this FAPA member can't take the contract he busted his ass for with him haven't you created a one way fence?
The Midwest certificate may be gone but that makes no difference. The contract is still valid and the YX pilots are still ALPA members falling under the direction of the ALPA contract and RAH is still bound by the agreement.
Do you guys give up every time your superior says no? No wonder your contract is crap. You guys just back down every time you are threatened. Play BB's bluff. If he sells F9, who cares? You guys don't want that because it's your chance at the big show without actually having to apply, interview and be hired by a real airline.

Ha ha. Midwest and Frontier are (were) never the show. Class A as opposed to our class AA maybe. Good places to park your hiney if you really like(d) mke and den for sure but certainly not my dream job.

because the upgrade is going to get really long for us. Assuming Midwest captains stay captains in the sli and come to work at RAH when they get recalled, there are now another 200-ish captains infront of any future upgrades. then there is the whole thing about where to place out of work midwest FO's and will an airbus FO be allowed to upgrade to a 145/170/190. Who knows where the lynx guys will end up. The only real benifit to the RAH FO's is possibly not having to interview again to fly an airbus.

Before 2009, the Teamsters Rep was milking the dues into his pocket and didn't want to spend money on grievances.
Now they have no money... ??? They (the Republic pilots union) don't have the will power, unity or the money to follow through on grievances.
Vote FAPA.

I see because you don't have a clue how to answer the questions you question whether I know what I'm talking about. Doesn't make sense to you because you really don't know the process. You assume that when this magical SLI is released that everybody will be plugged into what they can hold and everything is hunky dory. I'll tell it's not going to happen.

The good thing, for all those involved, is that there is a large number of former YX pilots who have moved on and probably won't return regardless of SLI results. The majority have gone to VA, Airtran, Allegiant, JetBlue. Others are at Evergreen, Falcon, Emirates, Air Cargo Carriers, FAA,GJ... 18 wheelers.
That should mitigate some of the pain for the folks at RAH/F9 with the SLI. I'm sure there will be a bunch of exYXers who will accept an integration, but by the comments on this board the time frame for that to play out could be very long.... and the results ...well, lets just say, low expectations will be the key to happiness.
Good Luck to All!

Very unfortunate for the YX and Lynx guys is even after the ruling is handed down, we're looking at another 3 to 5 years before anything is implemented. A joint contract with this company will take at least that long. Will be shocked if F9 doesn't delay this process as long as humanly possible to protect the mighty airbus.
