I have enjoyed all the MH bashing and agree to all. There is a reason he was canned from XJet, MESA, ect.... just glad colgan likes to pick up the trash from the other airlines.

Once again, the inability of management to produce under deadlines in proven. This has to be a planned management technique to continue the chaos and disruption, no one can perform this bad and keep their job unless there is more to it than we all see.

While I am not advocating anything, and reading between the lines here is not encouraged. We as pilots have our own techniques of disruption. Sooner or later...

It's a convenient, albeit elaborate, scapegoat. We've been hearing all about our lack of performance for the last 3 months. And what's right around the corner? You guessed it...contract negotiations! I can see the look on Phil's face as he sits across the table from ALPA and tells them in all seriousness "We'd really like to give you guys a pay raise. I really mean that. But..."

I think that there is something in the works in the Northeast if the lines are as undermanned as they appear. Not sure exactly what that is, but probably will make as many people happy as it will p**** off. Which is par for the course in a company that has been in almost constant change since PNCL, Inc. showed up.
It would be a company that would not be in business if Pinnacle Corp hadnt shown up... I would be thankful for the change.

Nobody would have bought Colgan expect Pinnacle Corp. Because they are good at running crappy operations... trust me I work for one them.

Colgan was is business for 15 years before the aquisition, what is the factual base as to why Colgan would have been unsucessful as a standalone carrier from 2007-Present?

Actually, Colgan was bleeding money with the Beech 1900s and that agreement with US Airways. Colgan was losing money and Chuck's pockets were deep enough to see them thru the tough times.
Pinnacle has the $$$ to purchase the Dash-8Q400s (Or the Pilots at Pinnacle did anyway). Without the Q400s, Colgan would be loosing money...

December should be real fun in Houston with ZERO FO reserve lines.

Same thing in EWR. Saw that many of the lines that start on the 1st had a couple reserve days instead!
