XJT Pilot Stands Up to TSA
#171
I'm just hoping the next "attack" doesn't involve a would-be terrorist smuggling a stick of dynamite onto an airplane in his/her rectum. The moment getting to work involves some slack-jawed, GED-holding, authority-abusing goon in a blue shirt taking a look up the chocolate highway, I am OUT OF HERE! Management or the pax can move the bus themselves.

Please consider supporting the XJA Pilot(Michael Roberts) through the Rutherford Institute. Both of whom are standing in the gap for the rest of us. The Rutherford Institute : Dedicated to the Defense of Civil Liberties and Human Rights
"No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders"
“It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds”
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!”

Resist, Resist, Resist. Don't let them touch you near your privates. Warn them that if they do, lawsuits will follow.
The only reason they've been able to do these things is because the sheeple let them. Anyone who feels it necessary to be "felt up" prior to air travel within our own borders is asleep. These measures put in place, are largely policy changes made because of threats coming from outside our borders. Sit and think on it a little. Small incremental changes to condition the masses to ever increasing loss of personal freedoms.

Do any of you all think the TSA would try to get us in trouble if we try and educate folks in the security lines? I'm not saying we should tell them to opt out, I'm thinking we could, as I said before, let them know they have a choice in the matter.
Opinions?

One morning I was going through security with my crew just as the machines were starting to be installed and the flight attendant asked what the machine was. I began explaining what it was and the hazards to users both physically as well as to our rights and privacy. I was speaking in a normal tone, possibly elevated (these things really set me off) while we waited for our bags to come through the x-ray. One of the TSA goons approached me and told me in no uncertain terms that I needed to "Tone it down. This is not the place for this discussion". Obviously, not an outward threat of discipline but they are sensitive to what people say in the line.

Did they yell "OPT OUT! OPT OUT!" ? If they did that with me I'd be ****ed and I'd give them a piece of my mind (respectfully but firmly albeit... I don't like carpet dances). All that yelling hocus pocus is nothing but intimidation. They are trying to make the ones who opt out stand out to the others in the line, and deter folks from opting out. Personally, I'll be telling any pregnant women (in fact, women in general) and kids I see in the security line that they have the option to opt out. I won't worry about the men since I'm sure they'll hear my conversation. My point is I want the traveling sheeple to be aware they DO have a choice... regardless how miserable each is. I'd rather be groped than get a dose of extra radiation.

You misunderstand - I'm no defender of the TSA by any stretch of the imagination, but he is not correct in all of his assertions regarding screening at some locations, that's all. No more, no less, and I'm not going to post in a public forum where some gaps might possibly be.
