The rumors about QX airplanes (and new Q400's) have been circulating for years. I'm sure there's some basis, in that management probably investigated that at one point but there's no obvious indication that anything is happening.

Why would they go to the desert? All of QX Rjs are flying now, covering for some Q's. None are parked. Going to the desert now would opnly get them warm. There is a letter of intent with a company that has not been released for 8 RJs going away starting in Feb-June (2 a month). Replacing QX with 8 -Q400. I wouldn't be surprised that they go to SKywest. SkyWest just announced that they are pulling out of MFR.
