I've found the company DC's to be just fine for the most part... just don't forget to wipe them down first. Only drawback is constantly having to dig them out of some obscure crevice which the previous crew decided to throw them in after using their own headset and not putting the company headset back in its proper place before turning the plane over to the next crew, but I digress...

haha wow, talk about disgruntled RJ FO. Sometimes I return it to it's proper place, sometimes I dont...deal with it! haha

Never used one, but I know few guys that have. The NON TSO's version seemed to work great.

For some odd reason, the TSO'd version gets a bleed through from NAVs. Constantly hearing the ID of whatever is in the nav's whether it's a VOR or a LOC. I guess even if you turn it down it can be annoying for some reason.

I had Zulus on when I was flying a turbo prop , however I moved on to a Crj 200 and they were too big to fit in my bag with all my charts without crushing them. So I got the telex 850 which have anr and they work great ! They are a little louder then the Zulus sure, but I don't have a bulky headset stuck to my head for hours on end. Makes a big difference when you have a small headset resting on your head compared to a bulky pair of DC all day. Telex 850 work great in the CRJ and cheaper too .....
