Will there by any advantage given to the acquiring airline's pilots? Without 9E taking on massive debt, none of this would be possible.
If I was on the receiving end of a purchase, I would only expect to fly a leg every now and then when I was fortunate enough to swing gear for the acquiring airlines captains.......and be happy to have a job.
Let's keep this in perspective everyone, and take a step back from any selfish desires you may have.

It's kinda funny to me when Pinnacle pilots say "WE" bought you. It's kind of like when you're a little kid and your parents live in a mansion and you say "I have a huge house". Yes, you might but it really has nothing to do with the kid. Pinnacle Corp "bought" mesaba aviation. Pinnacle Inc. did not. They are similar but not the same. Also "bought" is relative because really it's more like Delta gave away Mesaba since the money Pinnacle Corp used was lent to them by Delta.
I for one want whatever is fair, I'll take relative seniority or date of hire or whatever else it ends up being. I don't think being "bought" really figures into it.
