They wouldn't interview me after I had 200 hours accrued from a 121 carrier when I was at 900 hours unless I had gone to ATP......I had a degree, and training from an aviation university and 121 time, but unless I had learned how to fly at ATP, they wouldn't even let me interview

Why do pilot "wonder school" kids get reduced minimums in the first place? No fancy class or degree can replace real world experience, confidence, and skill. I guess that is another thread though...

It definitely seems reasonable, and although the Brasilia is a nice flying airplane, I can't imagine how challenging the training would be if one were really low time.
