1. most likely not for the CRJ, the EMB maybe
2. no
3. depends... SoCal Emb might not sit reserve at all... DEN(SLC?) CRJ RSV love you long time. Upgrades are currently running 5 years on the EMB, 7-8 years for the CRJ.

Most JR awards right now are 4.5 years on the EMB (12/06 hire) and 5 on the RJ (a 5/06 hire is in the June upgrade class and the July class just awarded included a 3/06 hire).

True, but that doesn't mean everyone at 4.5 years is upgrading. Alot of FO's that did not take the first open upgrade during the last boom are now doing it. It could be at least another year or so to go through more senior FO's to upgrade before the 2007 guys can upgrade. My thoughts anyways.

On the E120 it looks like 4.5 will remain the norm or go more JR if they keep running upgrade classes. As for the RJ I agree it will take another year or so for any 07 hire to see the left seat.

Regarding my above post referencing TI, my response was in regards to the highlighted portion below.

These questions have been answered several times before, if you do a bit of research you'll find more in-depth answers.

Most JR =

EMB = FAT
RJ = ORD, MSP and IAH

Getting hired in the second half of the year most definitely will result in solid reserve through the off peak season. You might begin to smell a line by next May (2012) if block hours stay high, attrition increases and hiring picks up (all of which I see happening). In other words expect to work every weekend and holiday with 11 days off and no control of your life.

Not trying to sound harsh. Good luck.
