How does 13 years to hold reserve DTW FO and 18 years to hold reserve DTW Captain sound?
Thanks for trying, I still want to puke!

But that's not because of anything Tennisguru or Boomer did, or failed to do.

Nobody went to Mesaba ten years ago because "Delta won't be able to sell Comair" and nobody went to Comair because "Mesaba guys are gonna get hosed in a SLI with Pinnacle"

The Mesaba guys should probably be glad they aren't owned by Delta any more.

Just like us Comair guys should be glad we're not the Libyan Air Force.

Senior Pinnacle guys are ****ED they think they got 3:1'd again and are mad about it. Pinnacle asked for status and category, they might have come out better DOH... The middle of Pinnacle made out pretty good. The middle of Mesaba did not good and then the bottom of Mesaba did not good. Seems like colgan did better than Mesaba and worse than Pinnacle except for the top.

How many XJ furloughs ended up on the list twice. What's the deal with those guys?

They get to choose which number and what fence they want.

Meanwhile, our lowest furlough, years later would eventually be recalled from attrition and the flow. Mind you, I think the furlough is better off since he gets a job way sooner, but the point is that the worst case scenerio for Mesaba is not as cut and dry as you might think.

It's also not a likely scenerio anyway. Another scenerio is that 9E, the disaster area that massivly cancels flights due to it's leaderships' endless incompetence and rufusal to staff, would have been parted out to better carriers.
You really think they wanted to keep the flow in place?

What I want to see is how all plays out in bidding in current bases. For example. I am top 10 CRJ2 FO in MSP. I want to know how this works for me now when I am integrated with 9E in MSP. I make just as much as a saab captain with my schedule and open time pick ups, and have a far better quality of life than being out of base saab captain in LGA. I want to see how I will fair under the new MSP base this fall when we all are together. Do I still remain in the top 10% or do I say screw it and take a saab captain out of base.

If you're sitting in the top ten at XJ on the 200 you will probably see an improvement in your quality life, because you now have most of the 9e FO's below you. Also, your trips will be better and you will get to see some other destinations besides MSP,MLI, DSM, DTW and HPN....
