It looks to me like life sucks at CHQ/RP. They are even wearing these God-awful IBT lanyards that announce to the world what d-bags they are (those wearing the lanyards that is).

People on APC and FI will hate you if you work for RAH. That's a dealbreaker.

Lord knows I'dve lost my ****** years ago if I wasn't so universally beloved on The Intarwebs...

Seriously though, last I checked, it's a horribly contentious place, and the peasants were just beginning to realize the emperor had no clothes. Caveat something or other.

So who should we be supporting, the idiots at FAPA or ALPA? Maybe we should all wear company lanyards.

Got tons of friends at both CHQ and RP and all hate it. I would highly recommend Compass or Eagle. Both places will have massive movement soon....waaaaay more than Republic will.

Plus people will hate you on here less if you work for them instead.

I would recommend FedEx or Southwest. If those don't work out, try UPS. If that doesn't work out, try Delta, Hawaiian, Alaska, or American. If those four don't work out try United/Continental or Jetblue. Last, try US Airways or Virgin America.

If you can't get any of the above jobs, I would recommend running from this industry.

As I said in the past, I was hired at CHQ back in 07. Resigned before IOE. No regrets. Everyone in my class back then, as far as I know, still have not upgraded and are still at the top of the FO payscale ($37). There may even may be some on here. Hi Guys! Carry on.

New contract coming in the next 6 months or so...maybe it will reflect a current state of the industry. 30'something an hour reflects the way that life was in 2003. I think things are different now...I don't think that that will pass again considering that there are FO's with the company have been here longer than the 3 or 4 years now. It's safe to say that people will continue to talk crap about us. But its hard to believe that this company will continue to pay the way that it has for the past 8 years, considering that even Colgan is making more money than us...it's a joke. Things will change. And if it doesn't...free free to talk crap, but do me a favor and go somewhere else to do it. For those who are at the company, you know what you signed on for....and if you don't...Wallmart will hire you too....quit complaining. I hope the IBT will do something for us.

I don't know if I would go as far as to call it a hub, but we do still have a pilot base there.
