What are the approximate hire dates for a Colgan pilot ranging 850 - 1350 on the master list?

I'm sure that's going to change, he is FOrever an FO, and let's all be thankful for that...

That's more longevity than I thought. My apologies.

It's a recipe for disaster. And let's be honest, they weren't hiring Chuck Yeagers over at 9L.

So my answer is no, I was not joking.
Sure, the environment, plane, and airlines will be different, but do you really think this is the first time someone has gone from a prop FO to jet CA successfully? Will there be challenges, sure. Will it be a recipe for disaster? I doubt it.

And let's be honest, the hiring standards were no better at Pinnacle vs. Colgan. No need to insult folks that you haven't even met and know nothing about.

16 EWR Q400 captains took -200 in JFK.

I bet that straight DOH with no fences proposed by XJ looks pretty tasty about right now.

Yes, it is interesting how the 9E boys treated all prop folks as second class citizens during the SLI process
It was NOT the entire 9E boys, it was 3 people! The 9E SLI committee. There is no denying they screwed the pooch on this one! But dont blame us pilots. They intentinally kept us in the dark. They didn't even have the guts to admit their final viewpoint until Colgan called them out on it on public forums.

Absolutely. Straight DOH with no fences/restrictions would have been FAR better than this POS turd shoved down our throats!

The similarities of this and TSA's MEC back in 2003 are amazing. If only the guys calling GoJet pilots "scabs" knew what really went down........
