as far as i see, all the colgan people going to the jet are already captains...and the majority of those are senior...and remember that half the 9l list lost a huge amount of relative seniority....the bottom half went from 50 to 76%, so not everyone made out like a bandit.

Don't give me that crap.

Please... because their vacated positions could only be filled by Colganites, then relative means jacksh*t. They got to fill their seats as if they were a separate company... meanwhile the senior guys got to cross over.

It's a win-win. Excuse me while I throw up.

Which then creates less Q400 CA's, thus not meeting the quota and allowing more Colgan guys to upgrade.

Basically until 5 years are up, XJ of 9E guy will never see a CA position in a Q400. Colgan guys will continue to bid the jet, so they will never meet their quota.

I think Bloch even knows he screwed the pooch with that quota system.

CR2 and CR9 should have been fenced! Then the quota's might have worked.

There is a good chance all Colgan FO's will upgrade well before the 5 years.

Actually, 1 9E and a handful of XJ did get Q400 CA.

I bet the company loves the fact that the most junior guys in this company are going to be captains on all the turboprops.

Quota has been met. 21 NON Colgan CA EWR Q400 positions awarded. Most were upgrades and almost all "movement per bid."

Jun 08 hire - Q400 CA

Jan 08 hire - 200 CA

Apr 10 hire - Saab CA


Yeah, Colgan guys really got screwed on this one.
