The Q will do more than 250 below 10. However, do to the straight wing we are structually restricted. Heck the Q will surpass 250 on one engine.
But.... Here's there real kicker... The Q fully loaded at MTOW will get off the ground in 3000' and climb at 2000' per min. Say what you want, but thats impressive.

Saying a jet requires more skill is debatable. And a CRJ is a not the equivalent of a Ferrari, sorry.
How fast is the Q? And why do the boards come up on all dashes before take off. It always makes me think you guys are about to do something stupid.

A Q is awesome up to 250nm. Then the jet wins. Kinda how the "Q" is never in the "green" since you operate compared to ERJ block times. Above 10K you can't do 330+ climb and 400+ TAS. Don't get me wrong- you base the Q in MEM, I'd gladly bid it, but the role of the JET and Q are different in many aspects.

Five, I could have taken a voluntary displacement into the jet last month if that's really what I was interested in.

I quit posting for like two months because apparently I can't say anything about anything without anonymous internet tough guys thinking they "called me out" by perpetuating some lame rumor made up buy a guy in my class who was salty that he didn't have enough multi time to fly the Q. Some of you guys enjoy being jerks SO much when your name and face aren't attached to your words and you'll never have to own up to them it's actually really sad. Whatever guys, enjoy your debate, looking forward to flying with some of you on the line. I'm logging out for good.
Good, a lateral move will almost always bite you in the ass unless there is something that will guarantee faster advancement. Only airline that a lateral move would be worthwhile is Comair.

We're restricted to FL250 due to no drop down O2 masks. At FL250 we True out at 360

As Highney said, Both Q and CRJ have differnet roles. Similar to the A-10 big slow but delivers a punch vs F-16, small fast but can't loiter.

Apparently its for aborted takeoffs and they are armed before they roll. Go down after a certain Power Lever Angle or something. Just what I have heard
