Its really awesome to see Colgan guys bid the jet and then only colgan guys upgrade into those vacated CA positions because nobody else can.

I feel bad for XJ and 9E guys. I guess our merger committees should have pulled out the knee pads for bloch...
Easy big guy...I'm guessing you voted in favor of the TA, right? Everybody who voted "YES" to that P.O.S. contract and are now ****ing and moaning about the results can shut their pieholes.

The contract and the SLI are 2 very different subjects.

Still crying over XJ grandfathered rates I see.

The two were directly tied to eachother...the SLI would not have happened without acceptance of the TA. As I understand it, and correct me if I am wrong...the Mesaba MEC scheduled the arbitration BEFORE the TA was agreed to, thereby assuring it would happen in a "timely" manner. It was clearly understood that accepting the TA would start the integration ball rolling. The only way to hold off on the integration would be to turn down the TA, no? To those who approved the TA and are now ****ing and moaning about the integration...you'll get ZERO sympathy from me. To the Colgan pilots getting awarded jet slots: Good for you guys.

Yeah, that's why an overwhelming majority voted yes on the contract, just to get the SLI ball rolling.

To a degree i agree about whining over the integration since you voted yes. But you realize this was 9e's 2nd TA after almost 6 years? Probably not since you weren't around anywhere near that long. Yes Colgan has every right to bid the jets, but you could have shown a little more class by leaving the last sentence out though and not rubbing it in 9e/XJ faces....Karma....

I'm not referring to everybody...just those who didn't take into consideration that the arbitration results may not fall in their favor and are subsequently whining about it. Bartok...was it that tough of a concept to understand that once the TA was approved, we'd have an ISL right around the corner? That the ISL could ONLY happen AFTER the TA was approved?

Karma is 9E wanting to staple 9L, and 9E getting no fences in return. I'd file it under the Law of Unintended Consequences. Be careful what you wish for...

Axial, what does that have to do with anything?

Of course it was going to happen after the contract was voted on, but I don't think anyone voted to have a contract just to get an SLI. Enjoy it, you got everything you could have imagined out of this merger.

And I voted on it for the chicks...........mooney
