Why would we get paid today? Today is the 28th. We get paid on the 1st and 16th. The 1st is this Tuesday.

I guess that would depend on where you work. XJ is still getting paid by weekly.

Yep sorry. You guys are right, paid on the 1st and 16th. Some reason I thought it was bi weekly on Fridays. Just has worked that way since I've been here with 1st and 16th falling on weekends.

Don't forget that if the 1st or 16th is a Sunday, you'll most likely get paid on Monday too.

That would be a violation of the contract. Payday is on the Friday (working weekday) before when the 1st or 16th falls on the weekend or a bank holiday. (Section 3.Q.1)

You're right. Companies never violate contracts.

They did violate that part a couple of times at first, but ALPA got on their case and now they are very good at getting them out on time.

Colgan should have been incorporated into a list back in 2008 but a lawyer screwed us and now this is what we have ended up with. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that guys who have 10 months @ Colgan were upgrading at the time of the SLI. And now junior FOs from the Colgan side are getting upgrades now and you have FOs from the PNCL/Mesaba side who are much more senior getting squat. Colgan had nothing before PNCL Corp purchased them, now they have the best of both worlds. I am by no means a company man and trying to thump my PNCL chest, its just a fact that our guys got the least out of this SLI and the fences that came with it. I am trying to get out of this place ASAP.

2008 hires were being upgraded at the time of SLI. Bloch screwed the pooch on this one based on the last initial award.
