Our 9E MEC chairman wont even answer his phone... How is it that 9E pilots are getting the vaseline.
That's because he's not MEC chairman anymore! Thankfully, it's Tom Wychor now.

So I got told to wait till they figure out how many pilots they needed to hire. Got a call 3 days before class and told not to show up. Will they ever start a new hire class soon.

This is the worst pile of crap the company has ever produced and I cannot believe that "those who say we are in charge" are not doing anything or speaking out. Our 9E MEC chairman wont even answer his phone... How is it that 9E pilots are getting the vaseline.
He is not the MEC chairman anymore.
We are one big happy MEC now. Tom Wychor is our new Pinnacle MEC Chairman, and by Pinnacle, I speak of all 3 pre merger airline groups.

Scary.
No one got awarded captain on any pinnacle or mesaba aircraft that was hired after 08. Nice try tho.

Well you won't have to worry about USMC anymore because he's in the Sim at JetBlue :-) Couldn't be happier for him, great pilot and hell of a good dude.

Yeah because they hired streamers and JetU heroes into captain positions? Hardly. The big difference here is these guys are going to be captains, on an unfamiliar airplane, with unfamiliar procedures, in an unfamiliar airport. (Namely JFK) Not to mention that most of the FOs there are brand-spanking new as well.

It's a recipe for disaster. And let's be honest, they weren't hiring Chuck Yeagers over at 9L.

So my answer is no, I was not joking.

This is the initial award. There will be revisions everyday. Count on it With all the holes, it looks like Swiss cheese, smells like toe cheese, and tastes like spoiled blue cheese. It's not easy being cheesy........

All the upgrades from 08 and newer hires went to saab positions. Position that your mec wanted nothing to do with and positions that if pinnacle guys upgraded to would be exactly what you described. talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Yes, it is interesting how the 9E boys treated all prop folks as second class citizens during the SLI process, and now they're crying about "parity". The irony.....
