So if my class date is not until April or May to switch planes but people junior to me get to switch before I do, do I get a pay raise when someone junior to me finishes or am I just screwed?

Bid for the earlier class. That way noone junior would go though training before you.

If you would have stayed non-union, CJC pilots would have, most likely, been stapled to the bottom of a combined 9E/XJ seniority list.

Pure speculation. The only thing CJC pilots brought to the table were the worst pay rates and work rules. CJC pilots received a windfall, both in the seniority integration and the combined Pinnacolaba contract.

If that wasn't communicated to the PCL Pilots to bid everything 'just in case', not the CJC Pilots problem.
Pre merger career expectations for CJC pilots did not include jets. Bloch effectively fenced off all current CJC aircraft CA positions to CJC pilots, while, at the same time, allowing CJC pilots to fill jet CA slots. Fences should work both ways.

I believe there is a mechanism in the Bloch award that allows it to be challenged. It needs to be challenged on the grounds it violates ALPA merger policy.

Yippee...

Funny thing is anyone saying "get over it" made out really well in the SLI. I have yet to hear a displaced and downgraded Pinnacle Captain say "get over it" and "boo hoo."

Well then they should've spent more time reviewing their bid pref priorities and had them in proper order. Shy, "get over it" all this complaining isn't going to change anything. So, there's nothing left to do but to "get over it" and stop complaining. Like I said earlier, if you don't like it you can leave. No one is forcing you to stay.

From Saab CA to 200 CA. The earliest I could bid is March but other bases can be for class next month.

What do their bid pref priorities have to do with anything? They were awarded a CRJ CA slot, then due to Bloch's rationale they went right back to FO......it's not like they screwed up their bid....
