They did have a lot of restrictions on who could be awarded certain class dates and when, maybe that could be the reason?
And to clarify my post above, I didn't really get my first choice - I got my 5th. But the first 4 classes I wasn't eligible to bid on, because of where I am currently based. That left me with two choices - out of which, I got my first.

Round 2
My post basically was saying how under DTW, JFK and MSP CRJ FO each date had a specific number of spots listed. I was under the impression that a class date listed as 4 spots would be a total of 12 people, 4 from each base listed. Well turns out it is just 4 people total.

I got clarification from FS today about it... apparently the bid wasn't nearly as specific as far as Airline/Aircraft/Seat were concerned from what the bid form looked like.
It gave me the impression that say you were awarded the 200 MSP CA position ... you would be bidding on a class date based on a criteria such as "9E MEM 200 FO". Looked pretty specific as far as where you were coming from in relation to where you were going to.
I was wrong apparently. Looks like said "9E MEM 200 FO" was competing with everyone else on the 200 FO trying to get to the 200 CA slot. Not just MEM guys.
Oh well. Again ... life happens. Have a shot and chillax
