I think by virtue of the fact that you claim to be a 2/28/11 hire which means you've probably been on the line at most 4-5 months, the odds of you being able to "walk the walk" are not in your favor and you probably still have a lot to learn. But maybe you are a true "Top Gun", that rare exception of a noob who, when dumped off by approach at 9000 feet on a weird angle to the downwind, can flawlessly execute a superb visual approach that would make Chuck Yeager himself weep in awe of your aviation skills.

I have a lot of problems with this post. You have no idea of his background before becoming a new hire. You make a lot of assumptions and come off like an ass. Take your "I'm better than you" attitude somewhere else and give someone the benefit of the doubt.

I wholeheartedly agree. We've had furloughed ATA guys and former Fedex pilots who were newhires here as well. And even if this guy is new to the industry, I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt before just ripping into them out of some perceived superiority complex...
