It's actually pretty slow. I think the company is procrastinating until they see how this bankruptcy thing pans out before they do the balls to the wall training we had in the fall...

The schoolhouse was a mess last year when Fedex hired away all the ground school staff. What do you you think is going to happen with this situation? The Pinnacle training department has trouble keeping to the training schedule in good times. All these various factors they are being hit with now are going to be a nightmare to contend with.

Colgan is hiring into props. If you wanna fly a jet expect a 2-3 year waiting list.

I'm willing to bet that we'll see new hires in the jet later this year if we actually hire and not furlough when the dust settles. I'm sure we'll save the company a ton of money with a blended FO rate and three year or more seat locks for FO's:)

Just wondering if anyone has heard any updates on discussions with management? Have the roadshows happened yet? Will there be a vote on the concessions coming up?

You think they could be a little more upfront and quit beating around the dam bush?!

How is it beating around the bush?

The Saab, Q400, Pinnacle ATL 900s are all losing money. It is not sustainable.

That means that they are out the door unless your partners can come to the table.

+1

This is the most information the pilot group has received since the union signed the NDA's and has told us absolutely nothing except that they continue to negotiate with management.

The paragraph about the ISL decision from Bloch not containing fences preventing people from switching certificates is interesting to me. I'm guessing the company really is pushing for fences preventing a pilot from switching between certificates.

This looks like a preparatory message for chapter 11. Sean makes bankruptcy look like the protagonist hero, riding in to save the company. It's definitely going to happen.
