Pinnacle Corp is hiring. There are two certificates, but one seniority list. You start at the bottom. The last guy on the list can not currently hold CA, let alone any jet. |

 I am not looking at applying, not turning my nose up at props, just wondering if it was true (or not) that there were new hires on anything but props. Just saying I read something on Jetcareers, so when Fly also mentioned something, my interest was piqued you might say. That is all.

All the new hires are going to the props. I have seen nobody come in below me on the DTW bid pack and I have fallen a few numbers because of people bidding to the jet. I'd don't know that it would be a couple of years before a new hire FO could hold the 200, but it would definitely be longer then 1 year.

Well a guy I know at Skywest knows someone who got called recently too...
All the new hires are going to the props because CRJ classes are full with transfers until the fall. By then new hires from last summer at Colgan will be coming up on their one year seat lock, so it is likely they will go to the CRJ when their seat locks are up. Of course this could always change depending on any changes to the 11-09 award and the policy on seat locks. |

We were supposed to move to one corporate inverview for all certificates after August '11. Just because Pinnacle HR is calling does not mean you are going to PCL. The Pinnacle pilot recruiters have been working on Colgan interviews since September. For instance, I talked to the Pinnacle recruiters first, then the Mesaba recruiters, and finally Colgan HR. In reality they are all the same.

Just hoping I can make it class in April but it is not looking very likely. Hopefully we get some news soon!:( |
