Did anyone actually not get paid ontime. Everyone I talk to did.

I did not get paid on time and the captain I was with also did not get paid on time.

I don't know anyone that got paid on time. I've still heard of people not being paid.

Can we give the political correctness a break here? My point was that it is not one of the major holidays and is easily overlooked, and has been overlooked by many companies when it comes to pay issues. At PCL it is not even considered a paid holiday for non union employees. Happens all the time with Columbus Day too, but somehow I don't think you're going to get all worked up over somebody forgetting Columbus Day.

JM is a nice lady. She is the only reason we get paid at all. She has gone above and beyond for me every time there was a problem. Its the underlings that are the issue.

Don't fall for it! I was at Comair for 8+ years and our concessions to "save the company" both outside of bankruptcy and during bankruptcy didn't make a difference.
