At pinnacle upgrades are 2010 hires!!! Oh wait i am a 4.5 yr Fo and get to watch colgan upgrade after 1yr. How fun!!!!

Sad but true....... No dis to the 9L pilots . But this turned out pretty bad....... And now were loosing money .......

You think that's bad now? Just wait until the Saabs are parked. All those 2007 and up to Feb 2008 Saab Captains are senior to 2007 and quite a few 2006 Pinnacle CRJ Captains. They will displace into jets as long as their seniority is above the most junior guy in that base and seat. If the Saabs are parked, and that's actually a very likely scenario, then Pinnacle could displace all its Captains out to the bare minimum 541 on the CRJ-200 as required by the quota. This would take upgrades at 9E back to a class date of Aug 2006.

Your point is greatly valid, but those training cost would never happen..... That foolish to retrain 500 people

Contract requires it. Unless the union voluntarily gives concessions, or if company files BK and files motion 1113e that the retraining costs would liquidate the company. Only option then would be to downgrade and furlough out of seniority the Colgan Saab pilots.

Sad, we are still so divided as a pilot group. Anger over a pilot group regarding a decision made by a neutral 3rd party who was appointed by all 3 groups.

When do we move past that and concentrate on the true issue, the company and their financial doom and gloom.

If we are divided, we dont stand a chance.

Only partially correct. The 3 representing the 9E side totally failed at their jobs and backstabbed every single Colgan pilot, and in turn, Pinnacle pilots too.

Stand a chance against what? In the scenario at hand I don't think it matters much. We are powerless, it is out of our hands. A united pilot group can do nothing to stop the storm on the horizon.

Basically I am saying that life will not be getting any easier for many of the 3,000 pilots here at Pinnacle. We will have enough upcoming stress at this company, we dont need any more by revisiting the SLI decision of the past.
