Let's just say this Mr. Tips, you can be my wingman anytime! :p

Why does everyone assume I am a he?

Maybe you would enjoy it more if I was not a he, and you could be talking about tips!

Sir, ma'am, Mr., Mrs., Ms., just going by averages in aviation and that that masculine forms i.e., "he" "his" still seem to be used as ...what's the word or phrase I'm looking for? Universal pronouns? None-the-less the wingman/wingwoman/wingperson offer is still on the table. But you have to accept within the next 15 minutes to get the discount..

Getting to the original question then...

What other 19ish seaters were commonly in use?
A quick wikipedia search shows Jetstream, Twin Otter, Dornier 228, Metroliner, EMB110.

I know at least a few of these are now used by cargo companies. Maybe because boxes don't care if the plane is old, loud, and vibrates. So that's probably why they're unpopular with passengers. That and, as already stated, the overhead even for small operators is enormous.

It's strange: people moan about loud, vibrating planes yet they spend $30,000 for a Harley.

its strange that hypocritical thinking runs rampant in this country.

"I HATE WELFARE!!! ...10minlater.....well if they drop our pensions the PBGC BETTER take over"

"The debt is out of control, I dont get why spending cant get under control.....10min later.....this president is an idiot, we should go invade Iran, we should go help out in Syria, and I do not get why we gave up in Iraq, oh and I better get my PBGC money and Medicare and Social Security."
