God I hope I'm the branded new hire tool at my company lol.

Well now that we have all monkey piled Cruz, we can move on. Cruz, I'd probably chill for a bit, but come back. Sounds like you are expanding your horizons in life and flying. Wisdom, judgement, and experience take time to develop. Keep evaluating your own and other's performance and gain new insights, and continue to refine yourself. Private message me anytime.

USMCFLYR 03-11-2012 05:23 PM

So Cruz - how about telling us the real story.
Are you still at Silver?

If so....what was with all of the weird posts you made along the way?
Did you have an extra boring and long layover somewhere and get a little sauced?

The truth is that I'm a bad person. But, that's gonna change -- I'm going to change. This is the last of that sort of thing. Now I'm cleaning up and I'm moving on, going straight and choosing life. I'm looking forward to it already. I'm gonna be just like you.The job, the family, the big television. The washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electric tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mortgage, starter home, leisure wear, luggage, three piece suite, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption clearing gutters, getting by, looking ahead, the day you die.

You're one strange dude. Your "bad luck" makes a lot of sense given the character of your last few posts.

Cruz5350 03-11-2012 05:30 PM

Your such an internet detective!! You must know so much about someone by a few posts on a website!! Its all so serious!!!

A forum on the internet full of pilots that take everything too serious. Shatner puts it well, I cant get behind that!

:) Maybe we are still in the hung over stage then since that post didn't make much more sense than many of your others in this thread.

Well...once you [clean up] as you say, maybe you'll come back to APC and start to repair your image and become a contributing member of this community again. As for the other stuff in the post quoted from you above - should I say good luck

Your starting to show your age bro.

If your captain has 3 exwives and only $50 to his, he must be too old for an RJ bro!!!

If your flying with a guy whose bald spot is the only part of him sunburn, he must be too old for an RJ bro!!!!!

If your captain tells you about his kids then you find out they are your age............HES TOO OLD FOR AN RJ BRO!!!

Why does everyone assume I am a he?

Maybe you would enjoy it more if I was not a he, and you could be talking about tips!

Sir, ma'am, Mr., Mrs., Ms., just going by averages in aviation and that that masculine forms i.e., "he" "his" still seem to be used as ...what's the word or phrase I'm looking for? Universal pronouns? None-the-less the wingman/wingwoman/wingperson offer is still on the table. But you have to accept within the next 15 minutes to get the discount..

What other 19ish seaters were commonly in use?
A quick wikipedia search shows Jetstream, Twin Otter, Dornier 228, Metroliner, EMB110.

I know at least a few of these are now used by cargo companies. Maybe because boxes don't care if the plane is old, loud, and vibrates. So that's probably why they're unpopular with passengers. That and, as already stated, the overhead even for small operators is enormous.

It's strange: people moan about loud, vibrating planes yet they spend $30,000 for a Harley.

its strange that hypocritical thinking runs rampant in this country.

"I HATE WELFARE!!! ...10minlater.....well if they drop our pensions the PBGC BETTER take over"

"The debt is out of control, I dont get why spending cant get under control.....10min later.....this president is an idiot, we should go invade Iran, we should go help out in Syria, and I do not get why we gave up in Iraq, oh and I better get my PBGC money and Medicare and Social Security."

It should be renamed the rambling regional thread.
