LOL...I KNEW I recognized that toolbags name...I remember that douch. One time he was complaining because they gave me a trip he wanted and I looked him in the eyes and cold said "seniority is everyting...should of got there first" lol.
He's the dude who made a passenger briefing over the PA about "keeping seatbelts tight because the brakes on the plane were like the brakes on his corvette" LOL...
...oh, he's also the dude that got busted by colleagues walking around Dulles with four stripes when he was an FO.
This guy probably looks in the mirror everyday and speaks quotes from the most interesting man in the world while holding his Dos Equis!

Honest question, is it also true that GoJets is barred from joining ALPA?

It used to be. But now it's different. Even ALPA has endorsed GJ as a place to hang their hats for the furloughed ALPA guys.
As for the main thread topic, it was stupidity and ego along with other issues for this pilot. However, including the fact that he was a "GoJet" pilot was completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. The OP used it to smear against GoJets, and it wasn't necessary.

ALPA was instrumental in helping furloughed United pilots secure jobs at G7 in 2008/2009. Why would the United MEC recommend their pilots find refuge at an airline they "barred"?

What an idiot. This is almost as bad as the TSA screener in Cincinnati that was calling himself a Federal Agent. This will just give the administration more ammo to use to kill the FFDO program......

No, it's not true. Not at all. GoJet chose IBT during their conception vs ALPA because of seniority and integration issues with TSA.
