A little black humor would have gone over with me, but this guy was dead serious. It was an IOE flight too, so I felt compelled to keep quiet. I think what I was trying to relate here is that the FFDO program, although conceived with good intentions, attracted many tools that let their little pistols go to their head. Let's face it, there is a lot of big egos in the 121 world. Add a pistol and you have, well..... Clayton

Perhaps a little different take away is possible- over the entirety of human experience, egos have proven to be far more dangerous than weapons.

For the love of God... Keep GOJET out of this damn thread. It has little (he works (or worked) there) to NOTHING to do with the topic at hand.
This is about an FFDO who completely abused his jurisdiction and privileges and broke several SOPs doing what he did... UNREAL.

Check your source if he wasn't employed he wouldn't be an FFDO... but he's not GJ. Don't know why people feel they need to make things up to make others look bad. We all need to stick to the facts. If you find a reliable source please post it
