Also keep an eye on the Delta pilots' voting results on their TA (not sure of the date). The scope provisions would impact XJT to a greater extent than RAH, IMO.

One has to wonder how this costly merger costly and JCBA is going to play out. If the Delta TA passes, what about UAL? I could see both RJET and SKYW filling chapter 11 within the next six years (I really hope that doesn't happen though). Republic seems like a better choice on paper.

How can I find info like that on various airlines TA's, JCBA's, etc?

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. That said, it's not like taking the job at RAH makes you ineligible to remain in the pool at XJT, right?

Why not say "yes" to both?

Republic has a two-year training contract, I'm not sure the amount but would guess it's probably close to 20K.

What are the chances of Republic getting a new contract within the next six months? Will the addition of the Q400s aid in contract negotiations, or slow things down even more?

Gad, what a rip.

Do they still have a $5000 signing bonus? With the Q400s, maybe that's a good way to go for now. Hell, I don't know.

OLD wisdom in this business... TAKE THE FIRST CLASS date.... get some time and hope to move on in a few years....

or.....sit in the pool at XJT/ASA and hope to get called before your six months expires.

You're kidding right? SKW has 1billion in cash on hand and owns all of their airframes. Not to mention most of the feed they provide is for United followed by Delta, Airways and Alaska. Where do you get RAH is better on paper?
