Flame all you want but historically SkyWest has been the most successful subcontractor out there.

Aren't you late to place your sacrificial offering at the feet of the Statue of Jerry, followed by the nightly Kumbaya sing-a-long in St. George?

wait till too many guys stay, you become too senior, demand too much, and no longer can compete on koolade alone.

Subcontractor being the key word. Eagle is/was wholly owned and unable to pursue feeding other majors. Keep taking what they give you at your non-union shop. Maybe you'll fly bigger jets for the same rate like before.

Anyone with half a brain can see I was stating the obvious. If you disagree then show me anything that says they are not the best in the industry. You can not; but instead you prefer to be junviline and act like a bunch of 15 year old school girls. Then again I do find your childish behavior amusing and sad at the same time.

Didnt skywest send out a memo to one of your employee groups saying that you guys had the highest employee costs in the industry, with Eagle being second, and had the second highest revenue, with Eagle being first. I do not want to open the door to this being another Eagle doom/gloom blah blah comment, but not sure your number 1.

Not really sure why AMR contracted with Skywest either, considering places like gojetz and great lakes could do it for way less. Hmm, I wonder the RFP for flying at AMR, if Great Lakes was offered it, and supplied the airplanes and use of the training center in Dallas.

The sad sad sad truth is this;

When you ACTUALLY separate/make the distinction between the pilot profession and running a regional airline, MatchPoint is right.

Since 9/11, Jerry has done NOTHING but grow SkyWest Inc and for the most part, keep the shareholders happy.

Not that long ago, before Reverend Bedford went off the reservation, the SAME could be said for him. He took CHQ from a crappy little turbo prop operator with a single mainline partner to what they were right before he went nuts with Midwest/Frontier.

AGAIN, you have to separate the pilot career from running a business/being a CEO understand what MatchPoint is getting at.

There's NO way GoJets could handle the increase in airframes. And you know that GL flies 1900's and 120's, right? You do know that adding a new fleet type to the certificate, let alone jet equipment to an all turbo prop operator isn't what one would call and expeditious process.

Sadly, Jerry has the "economies of scale" on his side.

Not to mention that we have crews and planes available now, not later.
