Apparently they do.

It says ASA because they still have that certificate. Skywest is buying pinnacles 41 900s and will use the ASA Cert for a stand alone company to whipsaw both Skywest and Xjet pilots.
Not possible according to the T&PA.

I will settle this and tell you what really happened. That memo was written by the DCI managers at Delta. Our reorganization is being set up in the exact way they want. A similar memo was sent to ASA back in the day right before delta bought them. All they did was pull that memo up again, change the name, and send it out. Now you know.
This makes sense...I can chew on this for a little bit.

Are we all talking about the same memo or am I missing something? Is it the one talking about the managers and their new postitions? I don't see what is so ground breaking about this. Anyone care to read me in?

It wasn't that the actual memo was ground breaking...but

When you download the PDF off the 9E server, the actual name of the file is "Atlantic Southeast Airlines".

I thought it was interesting and posed the speculative question of the potential of Pinnacle and ASA starting a marriage. Nothing beyond that...

Maybe the memo was drawn up by someone in payroll. Considering how often they screw up my check, that's seems like a reasonable explanation.

+1. Or it could be a clue...

"Dear Abby,

I just noticed a lot of the planes in our fleet have registration numbers that end with "CA". I'm just speculating, but does this mean that Comair is buying us?"
