All pilots on the list are eligible, but you have to hold a CA position when your time comes to flow. So it's not just CA's now, and the vocal NO no matter what voters are trying to spin it.

FO and CA proposed wages top out at rates worse than GoJets. And the flow favors only a select group of qualified pilots. Any 9E FO will not be flowing for a loooooong time. How do you consider upgrading to Captain as required per the flow when the fleet is dwindling down to 81 planes?

The Delta interview flow, for all practical purposes, is absolutely useless to any current 9E FO who has never held a captain seat.

uhhh because FO's will upgrade as captains flow/leave and become eligible? I think Delta wants a little PIC time and training events under the belt. Plus it's not a true flow.

Haven't seen the language but what's interesting is if you have to hold CA or be currently holding left seat, that also would put more than just the FOs out. Many current CAs will eventually be downgraded to FO so wouldn't that mean they are out of luck as well?
You need to look at this very carefully especially given the fact that there is no major hiring going on right now. DL seems to be shrinking, if anything.

Its not a straight flow. You don't NEED to be a Captain the wording is 'HAD' been a CA.

It's an interview slot based on seniority (8 a month) then Delta can choose 4 a month out of seniority, for a total of 12. Anyone who is currently a Captain qualifies.

This will cause good movement on the CA side of the list, creating the opportunities for FO to upgrade.
