I am a Senior Capt. and even at the new wage I will still make 85K under the new contract, and still hold 16-18 days off a month. We all feel we are worth more but for as little as I have to work I'll take it. Sorry I am still a Yes vote.

The bolded part sounds like something Roger Cohen would say.

This, my friends, is what it's all about. This is why one day that $85k will be $30-$50k...because of doormats like this.

Big difference IB...I was flying 34 seat turbo-props at 34 seat turbo-prop rates, and I thought the compensation on the jet side was dog ****

I support your right to vote that way. That is your right. I thank Wychor and all involved for working hard to get something they felt worth voting on. I cannot accept the wage cut put before me therefore I will be voting no. We, the pilot group, did not make the broad picture decisions that led us here (much like the financial debacle our government has led us into)... and since we cannot vote on who our leadership is I cannot endorse this plan for cutbacks and exit from bankruptcy. I feel that (as a 4-5 year employee) that the proposed wages are a slap in the face for having worked hard these last few years.
Yes our situations are different... you are senior and I am junior... I will be out of a job regardless and you will be making 85k... I will either leave the industry or start over again elsewhere... I just wish you would've had my back in this situation like I have had yours (figuratively... really all the Captains I've flown with) these last few years making sure we didn't get violated or worse.
Like I said... I support your right to vote however you choose and I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Looks like most everyone on the bottom two thirds will vote NO as a retaliation to this so called, scheme.
I think your poll sample is too small and the way you pose the questions to the poll are negatively biased. I agree that 67% will be furloughed and out of a job. What you are not considering is everyone will be voting on the basis of "whats best for me" not whats best for everyone else.

Whats best for me will differ from a lot of pilots but an ELTOA, travel benefits, 3 months pay with medical and a possible lump sum payout upon exiting the BK is better for me. Plus, the fact that the majority of the pilot group will have bought some extra time prior to a furlough, to find another job, build more twin turbine time to make themselves more marketable and, for those who have their 1500 hours, an ATP with a CL65 Type rating.

That sounds better than a wind down with no benefits.

Its funny to me that some of you think that you can affect a change in the industry by this TA being voted down. Delta has our hands tied and they own us. We did not start the race to the bottom, we are just the next victim of the race. Some of you that are so adamant that we vote this TA down, are the very ones who will benefit the most by taking over our planes and flying. More upgrades for you and your company. Way to take one for the team!

Your miles may vary.
