They may be hiring on the CRJ-200 side, but without upgrading anyone, it's a completely moot point. Attrition has picked up for the left seaters lately, but nothing is being done to fill their void. Captain reserves are getting hammered right now- or maybe someone in scheduling just explicitly HATES me. Sitting at just shy of 60 hours of credit for the month (including the two day that I'm starting tomorrow). People I talk to are getting assigned 2-3 different trips before they show up to actually fly the one that's inevitably scheduled. It's like scheduling is so underwater, they don't know where to begin to get things back on track again. This much fun, and it's only April. Geez!

Probably not very long. With upgrades staying pretty much stagnant on the CRJ side, people are going to go to the other companies who will have some type of growth as well as getting the bonus. Anyone know why Skywest is not hiring - are they fat on pilots? It usually seemed like when we are hiring they are as well. Most of the time, Skywest would hire but we wouldn't.
