There aren't many people out there with 1500hrs willing to go to a regional. And the ones that are out there are going to repugnant because their engines are under the wings and you get to fly a real airliner, brah.

CRJ is filling classes because most are ex-cmr or ex-pcl. They are delaying employment until a CRJ position is open.

That sounds crazy to me. Why give up seniority and income waiting on a CRJ class? Are they afraid to learn a new aircraft type? Domicile considerations are the only thing that makes sense to me.

In any case I think 7+ year upgrades, projected shrinkage, and no signing bonus make ExpressJet less attractive than other options.

Default XJT pool

I've been in the pool since January and I can't start class until I get 1500.

June classes are the 3rd and 17th for ERJ and one CRJ class the 17th as well. Has anyone heard of July class dates? I would assume it'd be for the ERJ?

How are class dates and aircraft assigned to new hires? Is it likely those June classes are already filled?
