Default IBT National overrules Local 357's NC

IBT National has proved the incompetence of the IBT Local 357's NC by overruling them and allowing the company's best/final offer to go to a vote by the RAH pilots. I wonder how all you 357 apologists are gonna spin this one.... Hahaha.

IBT's rules require that a "last, best, final" go to the membership. That's not overruling...that's the rule.

So they are even more incompetent that I thought. According to RAH conference call for 2012 and 2012 Q4 earnings results, the Local 357 NC walked away from the mediation session stating they will not accept managements LB&F offer. Management later received a call from IBT National informing them that they will put the LB&F offer up for a vote (shouldn't that be a Locals job?). If the NC knew what the heck they were doing, they would know the rule that forces them to put the offer up for a vote. Instead, National had to step in and do their job for them. Embarrassing, to say the least. Either the NC didn't know their own "rules" (gross incompetence) or they did and chose not to follow them (gross negligence).

Face it, the NC are a laughing stock and the RAH pilots as well, given they voted them in. Thanks for the great attemp at spin, though. Hahaha!!

I hope the membership votes it down 100-0. That would show that the local 357 knows its membership and that national is out of line. I would be ****ed if I was a pilot. National just undermined the local association.

From the Teamsters Constitution:

"Article XII , SEC 1, (b):

"... an employer has made a final offer of settlement, such an offer must be submitted to the involved membership for a secret ballot vote...""

Now, you were saying?

Hahahaha. Do you always start your posts by stating your best attributes or was this a special occasion? Maybe I need to draw you a pretty picture too, as it seems that may be the only way to get through to you guys!
