If they use the Comair name, will the Pinnacle guys settle for a staple when the Comair guys all come back per The Comair ALPA LOA?

Funny you should mention that... In the works right now is a uniform police.. That yes will be standing in the jet bridge looking at uniform standards... No joke. I have also heard first hand that hats will be manditory shortly and a new uniform is in the works to look almost just like mainline.. Dont worry we'll be hiring soon.. so anyone that wants to prentend to be Delta can join the ranks of Pinnacle (or soon to be "insert name" regional) at the lowest pay in regional world (or should I say the best service at the right price).

At least it would stop the North Face jackets being worn like they are the double breasted standard the world over.

The real question is... will a Comair 1990 hire be willing to be junior to a 2009 Colgan hire? Once Bloch steps in and tells you guys that Colganights had career expectations..

Even under the old Pinnacle FOM before the merger, it said hats optional except while on the ramp. But no one enforced that.

Wouldn't bother me one bit if we had uniform police. "But I just commuted in and was going to change" or "I'm not on duty" as he is walking to the plane to operate a flight.

I understand that the uniform represents our profession, but its hard to motivate people when you're constantly treated like **** from the top down.

Doesn't that mean no hats on the ramp, so it won't blow off and FOD out an engine?

I just can't believe these management guys believe the words coming out of their mouths.

I forget the exact wording, but the way I remember it was that it implied hats were required on the ramp (eg, walkaround).
