Training class sent home until July

Sounds like good news to me. Enjoy the time off. I assume they will still be collecting paychecks?
1. Get furlough
2. The date he/she finish IOE
So, if it takes 6 months to get on line, they will get their paycheck every 2 weeks.
When we started displacing in 2012 I remember guys on IOE going back to the training academy switching planes and everything. They just spend like 4 months in a real 1st year pay before getting 2 year checks.

From what I heard the lack of sim had something to do with DFW FlightSafety Sim. I don't know if it broke down, is getting replaced or what the deal is. But the folks I've talked to very recently are having their PC's at the schoolhouse which is odd cause previously the schoolhouse was mostly booked up for FOQ.

I hope the figure something out quick, theyre about to have a lot of p*ssed off Puerto Ricans coming through long term on the EMB because of the way things have transpired in last the 20 days or so, if they make them wait around in hotels, they may have a full on riot.

From what I hear, the company violated the contract, and bypassed any seniority the SJU guys had, and moved all of them up in front of MIA ATR guys, still sitting at home, even though there bid award date was months before SJU guys. I was told they have taken it personally, because I cant think of another reason why the company did it either.

Get your facts, they "might" be ****ed off just because their training got pushed sooner ruining them their months of vacations. They played and they lost. and oh yeah, come to training with attitude flying the ERJ for the first time and well, we shall see how that will roll.....

So they played by the contract, meanwhile, the company didnt, and moved them all ahead? Dont get me wrong, I'm sure them not having 6 months off like they planned gets them up and up, but while there are MIA guys still at home, who were displaced before them, and are going to training after them. Wouldnt you be somewhat disgruntled?
