This based on how often reserves get called out in each base and how often swap/drop requests are approved. Of course this will all change as people flow to AA, upgrade, etc....

Yeah from what I can tell the staffing levels for FOs from best to worst go something like this:
MIA
NY
DFW
ORD

I think he meant once the 824 starts to go. Then is when it will be some good movement.

RSV schedules are 11 days off: usually 4-6 days on, 2-3 off to equal 11 days off a month. You have the option of 'swapping' rsv days around, provided staffing is good. Some people like to do 6 on, 1 off, 6 on, 1 off, and then put a whole bunch of days off in a row. Me - I hate being on for more than 2 or 3 days so I generally try to swap so I have 2-3 on, 1 off, 2-3 on, 2 off, 2-3 on, 1 off etc. It's hit or miss if they approve it but more often than not I get something I want.
Hard lines for 4 day trips are usually 4 on, 3 off with weekends off going more senior. There are a fair number of 2 day back to backs and a few 3 day trip lines. Day trip lines are usually only a couple and go to the most senior non-commuters. 4 day trips can be traded with a pretty convenient trade program. Takes a few min to get used to it then it becomes you best friend ever. Great if you want specific overnights, dont want to fly with a DB captain, move your days off around so you get 6-7 off in a row, etc.

^^ very true about trip trade. However our union is shoving PBS down our throats to the tune of 9 million in owed costs per year. We can vote later this year if we want it or just give up 9 million. i hope to god with all the union corruption, people wakeup and see that we are better off taking the pay cut and not get pbs.

If we can just stand together just once, this would be the perfect time.
