So if I am reading press releases correctly, the 30 UAL is buying to be operated by still an unnamed regional, will start coming online or at least delivered beginning Jan 2014. Skywest's begin 2nd qtr right? I'm amazed this unnamed regional hasn't been publicly announced yet. I realize this is the whole point of the thread, but considering these planes will start to arrive before OO's, I've got to think this announcement will be any day now. Recruiting, training planning etc doesn't happen overnight!

The contract goes to binding arbitration soon with arguments ending in September. I would expect an announcement Then if they are going there.

I would guess Chicago, since XJT just "chose" to "realign [their] domiciles to more accurately affect current operations" and shifting pilots out of ORD.

There was the initial rumor that these would be coming to us at Compass, and then that died. The talk around HQ was that California Pacific had actually placed the lowest bid on this flying and United awarded it to them. However, United has since had second thoughts on an unproven carrier. My guess is that Compass, by default will end up with some of this flying. I think what BlueMoon said about the contract negotiations is probably pretty spot on.
