I interviewed in october.
-Fast the night before for 12 hours (water only, no food)
-Full vision test - must be corrected to 20/20, cant have contacts
-full hearing test
-EKG
-2 urine samples
-draw 3 viles of blood
-physical (face to face with doc or nurse)
they test your red blood cell count, cholesterol, a bunch of other levels.
pretty much if you pass your interview, the medical is no big deal they just want to make sure nothing is horribly wrong with you

If you are a current military pilot, you probably have no worries as long as your joints are still good. For civilians, the AA mediacl is much more stringent than FAA.

The FAA eliminated the 20/100 requirement about 10 years ago, but several majors still required it, including AA, UA, and I think DAL. (the eagle physical is the mainline AA physical)
