Pacific Wings

I think Mokulele would have to try and go head to head with Pac Wings, which I don't think they would be successful at. I'm not familiar with their air tour ops, so I don't know if that would be enough to keep them afloat. In the end, it could end up being HA, WP, and LW, each one focusing on different markets.

Hi, I'm a Georgia pilot interested in GeorgiaSkies. I currently have 670 TT, 100 Beech 1900, meet VFR 135 mins and only short TT for IFR 135 min. I have sent in a resume, but have not hear anything yet, any info on GeorgiaSkies hiring plans would be apperciated. Please email me here or post for other who may be interested also. Thanks for the help.

Anybody know anything about a pilot who quit Pacific Wings and then had to call for a Maui Police escort to pick up personal items and drop off co-mat?? Terrific Island Lifestyle my foot. Somethings never change...

I fly for pac wings in New Mexico. Its not the greatest job, but I am still flying. It does get boring at times. The equipment is great though.
I know there are a couple classes getting ready to start in Georgia. One class here in New Mexico at the end of the month. If you haven't heard anything keep applying.

Yes, the pilot who called the police to retrieve his items was my friend who was fired for refusing to accept an airplane that was not in safe condition to fly. Pac Wings refused to let my friend get into his locker and grab his Bose headsets along with some personal items. That alone should give you an indication on how they operate.
As for the pilot saying he ws near IFR mins with 670tt your about 5+ months away from mins if you fly 100hrs a month. Remember 135 IFR mins are 1200tt, 500xc, 100 night. I do think Georgia skies is real strict about this however; their SIC's mins are much lower... Happy hunting.
