They have tried not to lower their standards but if the shortage keeps up they might have to. I say call Claudette and see if she is receptive to your qualifications.

Ask her if she considers sub 700 hour guys?

DME after seeing the Contract at XJT I would highly recommend looking into them, I haven't seen a better one yet......

I'm in a contract with Colgan, but I'm looking to leave after a year and have a few friends looking for jobs.

Hey, at least Eagle is a step up the payscale from Colgan!

Now that you've got the XJT job offer, what happens with Colgan? I would assume you'll be taking the XJT offer.:D

Also just to add Eagle has the best travel benifits of any regional. Unlimited space available travel for employee and family. Parents and friends get 24 one way passes a year. What makes the travel privileges so great is that it is first come first served. You can check in for a flight 4 hours early online and get yourself on the standby list. It isn't senority based like many other carriers. If you check in before a AA employee then you are ahead of them on the standby list. Only jumpseats are senority based. This applies to Eagle and mainline.

You forgot to mention that you have to PAY until you get the 5yr mark.(even for yourself). With Mainline cutting capacity, good luck getting on.

Paying to sit on one of your own companies planes is awesome. There's nothing like seeing your paycheck docked a hundred bucks a month for commuting.

Seriously, Eagle's travel benefits are a lot worse than my current employers--a LOT worse.
