Default ASE weight restrictions

I think Skywest operates these flights. I've heard these flights go out weight restricted regularly. Any Skywest guys wanna chime in and let me know the details. Thinking about a trip in January. Thanks in advance.

I've been doing the ASE flying for 2 years and I don't see that many that are weight restricted. We typically plan GJT as an alternate unless we are coming from DEN then we use DEN as the alternate. Even with alternates we are usually able to carry a full load and jumpseater. Flights from ASE to DEN are never a problem. LAX, SFO, ORD, IAH and MSP will likely be restricted if an alternate is required. ATL is a new one this year and they tell us a fuel stop may be used to be able to carry a full load.
ASE weight restrictions aren't as bad as you'd think. That extra 1000' they added to the runway a few years ago made a huge difference.

It really doesn't get weight restricted unless the runway in ASE is wet or if engine anti-ice is required for the go-around. A wet runway at ASE takes about 10-12,000 pounds off MLW.
Even though the runway is physically 8000ft long. They still haven't changed LDA which is still at 7006ft so flights to ASE are dispatched to land on a 7000ft runway.

At least at Eagle the flights are always planned with a GJT alternate doesn't matter what the weather is. It's rarely weight restricted even with that alternate.

How are the loads going in/out of ASE in July?

I am looking at jumpseating to visit family, but don't want to get stuck.

Best/worst days of the week?

Will likely go thru ORD, DEN, or DFW

Thanks.
