They are looking for more instructors at the schoolhouse not because they can't keep up with new hires flooding the building, or upgrades, but more so for the Massive displacements that will happen once they start parking ERJ's and moving CRJ's from ORD to other bases.
But all is good. |

I mentioned this scenario few months back. They will park 140-145's starting JAN. Everyone bashed me because Danny G. sent a glorified letter saying that those planes will stay longer,( he had to raise moral)
But in the end he lied again, and the group fell for it. There are no pilots to fly those airplanes and they knew it all along. Good Luck. Everyone bashes you because you are an insufferable, worthless troll. But your useless flame baits are also a good reason. |

There is a shortage of pilots at the regional level and they still want concessions. Guys are leaving, for some reason management doesn't think supply and demand applies to this industry though.
Supply and demand applies to this industry but not the way you're thinking. If a carrier no longer has the ability to provide sufficient lift another carrier will provide it. If those actions don't solve the problem the mainline carrier can and will pick and choose what route and city pairs they would like to keep or no longer serve. Raising revenues for any business is generally for the operations of the business and not for the benefit of employees. |
