Whoa, wait a minute... Race to the bottom? Our rates and soft time are among the tops in the industry. I personally wouldn't mind one list, but first you have to kick ALPA to the curb. Many others here feel the same way.

Exactly. This situation is NOTHING like Pinnacles bankruptcy, where we not only WERE IN BANKRUPTCY with the judge saying WERE GOING TO IMPOSE THIS ON YOU, but it was also at a time before 1500 hour rule when not many airlines were hiring. Basically regionals started hiring again, 1500 hr rule, and since nobody's showing up at the door the bargaining environment had changed, which was the original intent of the 1500 hr rule. My props to expressjet and ASA (and skywest)!!!!!! If this all works out right (timing wise and supply/demand-wise) you may have just marked the end of the race to the bottom and started a bidding war for regional pilots.

So now those fools are going to come up with a plan to addres our concerns? Why didn't they do that in the first G** D*** place? I am proud to be part of a pilot group again.
