Meetings were held between LM and Midwest MEC in Washington. That's a fact!! I blame a lot of things for the debacle of Midwest, including ALPO and LM. Any one who says that ALPA brothers stick together is living on Mars!

If you weren't at YX then anyone else won't believe you. I was a YX pilot and this is all TRUE! We were screwed by LM and ALPO ! Unity, what a joke!

Some pilots actually think their union or another union could simply decide to integrate another airline into their list. It simply does not work that way.
Sailingfun, you know better than that. Eagle, Mesa, and RAH all negotiated single lists to combine multiple pilot groups. TranStates had a negotiated deal to combine GoJets, but the deal wasn't ratified. You may not want to spend the negotiating capital, but saying it isn't possible simply isn't true.

Huge difference in getting management to agree to merge operations that are on the same cost basis. We might have been able to convince management to go that route but only via massive concessions to offset managements perceived cost increases.
