I was suspicious after several users flagged him and took a look after noting his posting patterns. I did it to give him a chance, but it appears that is likely not the case.

If someone claims they are based somewhere and is posting as frequently as Skyvector, at least one should show up from where they are based or at least out on layovers... particularly a junior captain as he claims to be. However, that was not what showed up.

The RAH vote now becomes even more important than ever. This is potentially the beginning of a long needed collusion of sizable pilot groups, in a downtrodden part of the industry.

Airlines have relished for a long time now, the ability to B-slap pilots.

No worries. We are all in this together. I'm really not worried about losing anything personally at this point. I'm more worried about the guys junior to me, both Captain and FOs.

But it's all in the past now. We have to move forward and embrace this direction we have taken. The majority spoke and I respect that. As such I'll take up the fight myself. I just needed to say what was on my mind and now that is done.

I very happy at the turnout. Still wonder why 8% didn't bother to vote.

XJT/Eagle/RAH Pilots VS Management

No one said this was going to be an easy road. And there will indeed be repercussions for us at L-AE. But the last time we voted yes, we were rewarded with 2 base closures, 2 fleet returns and a management team that wanted another bite at the apple. This was after the NDA fleet plan our previous union sold us which turned into fraking furlough protection.

I was originally going to vote yes, right up and until the MEC killed it. That was when republic stated they were parking 27 airplanes and taking a $20 million hit in revenue. I mean, that is a lot of money, and all because they couldn't find the pilots. That gave me some time to reflect.

This POS proposal was for 10 years. Was I really supposed to believe this management team when they stated that if the flow doesn't attract new hires, they'll work with our union to increase pay?

Was I supposed to believe a management team that had no teeth in a contract in case they broke our contract? SnapBacks? Penalties? Nothing. Not a single bit of recourse available us accept an aurgerous
court process that takes years to settle.

If they do indeed shut us down, as they promised the first time around, then they can explain the pilot shortage to the FAA and Congress. Remember these guys are trying to get the 1500 rule relaxed. And I do believe that they we're be honest the first time stating they were going to Comair us.

Best thing for us now is to pressure our union to help us get on at other carriers. Endeavor is offering interview prep and resume help. We should immediately start down that path.

But I wouldn't start dusting off the resume and talking about jobs at other carriers just yet. That may be premature. The best thing at this point is to let the chips fall where they may.

Eagle isn't going anywhere and I honestly believe that. Just look at how quickly the company distanced itself from Jerry "Commair II" Glass. There will be some short term pains. Let's work together to minimize them and ensure we do in fact get those long term gains.

Homerun. Not a single regional can find enough people to replace anyone's flying at this point. Anyone with 1500 hrs who wants a 121 job already has one. Bravo to Eagle and our generation of pilots for organizing grass roots unity even when our national "union" encourages us to undercut eachother. Bravo!

I never came to Eagle with the hopes of finishing my career here, nor being part of a flow. The company didn't completely back down from Jerry's statement. Just that we're going to shrink, and have no new aircraft. Using those words and our court filed return timeline for the 145's, it's best to be the first to divert, not the last. We, and our MEC should do everything to bolt and make the company convince us to stay. Am I worthy of this already concessionary contract or not?

I can see AA starting an alter ego airline, calling it Yes Jets and hiring all the spineless "yes men jellyfish" to fly on the cheap.

Congrats to the Eagle pilots. It's one thing to be an internet tough guy. It's another to do what the Eagle pilots have done by voting "no" on this contract after all the threats they have received from management concerning possible future job losses. Admittedly, I'm an outsider, but to me it's a pretty impressive show of unity. If I were a betting man, I would say it will pay off for all of you in a positive way in the future.

I think most every FO on property has their apps in at the LLCs and legacies, the question is if we'll get called before this thing hits the ground.

He has a whole 27 posts. And not everybody is so lonely they have to log onto APC on the road. Heck most guys I know don't even bring a computer, and layover time is usually not spent on APC. I'd bet 98% of my posts are from home. Stick to flying, you'd make a lousy private I :)
